12 injured in road accident

MULTAN: Twelve passengers were injured in an accident on Multan-Bahawalpur Road near Wazirabad on Tuesday.
A bus was going to Jalalpur Pirwala from Multan when it rammed into a truck while taking a U-turn. As a result, 12 people were injured. Eight passengers were provided first aid on the spot and the remaining were shifted to the Nishtar Hospital.
The passengers, who were provided the first aid, include Zohaib, 25, Pervez, 35, Allah Diwaya, 58, Ghulam Mujtaba, 32, Dilawar Hussain, 60, Salim Ahmad, 64 and Bushra, 12. The four passengers, who were shifted to the hospital, were Azra, 50, Hafeezan Bibi, 45, Amir Shahzad, 9, and Amina Bibi, 7.
