A police constable committed suicide by taking poisonous pills in Hujarwal on Saturday.
He was identified as Mohammad Imran and posted at Nawan Kot police station. He hailed from Nankana. It was reported that Imran, who had two wives, was upset over domestic issues.
CTO: The CTO Lahore has appealed to the citizens to prove law abiding and civilised citizens by removing black papers from their cars. He said the action against vehicles with tinted glasses, green number plates, non-prescribed number plates and suspected vehicles would continue in letter and spirit.
reunited: The National Highways and Motorway Police, Central Zone (NHMP), reunited two children, who had either lost or had run away from home, with their parents.
The children were found from two different points on National Highways near Thoker Niaz Baig Lahore. Motorway Police Patrolling Officers Nasir Ali and Adnan Rasheed during the patrolling near Jinnah Terminal observed two children wandering aimlessly. The cops inquired about their families and cities. They were identified as Muhammed Umer, 07, r/o Lahore and Muhammed Ahmed, 08, r/o Okara. The children were handed over to the parents in the presence of witnesses after completion of due formalities. DIG National Highways & Motorway Police Mirza Faran Baig has appreciated the efforts of the police officers.
