LAKKI MARWAT: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Minister Dr Hisham Inamullah Khan has said that the country’s progress is directly linked to education and the goal of sustainable development can be achieved by equipping every child with his basic right to education.
He was talking to journalists after leading school enrolment awareness walk at Gandi Chowk on busy Indus Highway on Saturday. After passing through Peshawar road the walk ended at Gandi Chowk. The participants carried banners and placards inscribed with slogans highlighting the importance of education.
The provincial minister gave free textbooks and school bags to the newly enrolled kids and felicitated their parents, saying that they (parents) have made their own and children future bright by admitting them to schools.
