RENOWNED singer and social activist Jawwad Ahmed’s recent theme song on Fiscal Year 2015-16’s budget, is a blunt commentary and a representation of the popular sentiments of all the poor, white-collar middle class strata of the society, against the economic murder of the poor of this country, due to the burden of heavy taxes levied by their own elected representatives. The video song was launched by Jawwad at the Lahore Press Club in a crowded yet brief press conference, coincided with the Punjab budget announcement in the Punjab Assembly just a few blocks away for the fiscal year 2015-16, on Friday noon. The song is a visual tale of the misery of a worker and his family.
