Death anniversary ZA Bhutto observed in KP
PESHAWAR: The death anniversary of the former prime minister and founder of Pakistan People’s Party Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was marked across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.
In the provincial capital, the main event was organized at Landi Arbab where party leaders including Misbahuddin, Saeed Khan, Liaqat Shabab, Syed Ayub Shah and others participated.
The speakers on the occasion paid rich tributes to the founding leader of PPP and said that he was martyred for not compromising on the supremacy of the democratic values in Pakistan.
They said that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was still alive in the hearts of the people of Pakistan while his murderers had vanished from history.
ABBOTTABAD: Rich tributes were paid to the former prime minister by the speakers at a seminar here.
The seminar was organised by People’s Doctors Forum Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at his 40thdeath anniversary. The services of ZAB to the country and his efforts for the Ummah were acknowledged. “Bhutto is now the name of an ideology and is alive in the hearts of every Pakistani,” said a leader.
MARDAN: A function was held at the residence of PPP Mardan president Aurangzeb Khan Hoti, which was attended by a large number of the party activists and workers.
Aurangzeb Khan Hoti, Sajid Payendakhel, Asad Khan and others addressed the gathering. They vowed to render every sacrifice to complete the mission of ZA Bhutto.
CHITRAL: The activists of PPP observed the 40th death anniversary of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto with a pledge to follow the mission of the late leader.
Addressing the participants, PPP district president and former provincial minister Saleem Khan and others paid tributes to the founder of the party. They said the late Bhutto sacrificed his life for the poor people but did not compromise on his principles.
On this occasion, Juma Khan and Akhtar Hussain quit the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and announced to join the PPP.
NOWSHERA: Separate events were held to mark the 40th death ceremony of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. In this connection, a function was organized at the residence of Mian Yahya Shah Kakakhel.
Addressing the participants, PPP district president Malik Ghulam Hazrat and general secretary Iftikhar Ali Shah paid homage to the founder of the party.
They also called for unity among the party workers saying due to internal differences PPP had lost its popularity.
Another event was held at the residence of Mian Feroz Shah Kakakhel where the speakers urged workers to work for strengthening the party.
The third event was held at Shaidu where the leaders eulogized the sacrifices of the founder of the party.
