Saudi delegation visits Islamic varsity
Islamabad: A high-level delegation of the officials of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) visited International Islamic University (IIU) where it discussed with the top management the issues of mutual interest and bilateral cooperation between IIU and Saudi educational institution.
The KSA delegation was headed by Director General Passport and Immigration, General Salman Al-Yahya, while it was comprised of KSA officials hailing from Ministry of Religious Affairs, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Interior.
He also discussed the role of IIU faculties and constituent units in research and dissemination of peace across the world. Gen. Salman said on the occasion that IIU was serving the Muslim world in best manners. He maintained that the visit was memorable as it was a great opportunity to explore the role of IIU in progress of the Muslim world. The delegation also visited Islamic Research Institute (IRI), Dawah Academy and Faisal Masjid where they watched a special documentary on the KSA-IIU ties.
