Passerby injured in gas cylinder explosion

A passerby was injured after a gas cylinder exploded at a burger’s stall in North Karachi on Tuesday. The incident took place in Sector 5-A near Baba Morr within the limits of the Khawaja Ajmair Nagri police station.
The police said that 55-year-old Syed Shoaib was taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical treatment where doctors said that his condition was out of danger. According to the police, the gas cylinder, which was placed under the stall, exploded with a loud bang due to a gas leakage. No case has been registered while an investigation is underway.
