UET delegation visits LWMC
LAHORE: A six-member delegation from University of Engineering and Technology (UET) visited LWMC head office here Monday and discussed mutual issues.
The delegation was led by Dean of Environmental Engineering Department UET Dr Sajjad Sheikh and met Managing Director, LWMC, Khalid Nazir and his core team.
During the meeting it was mutually agreed that UET will provide its technical support and research regarding cheap solutions to landfill site, waste to energy, rehabilitation of dumpsite, executing effective awareness campaign to sensitise people for LWMC without any remuneration.
MD, LWMC, Khalid Nazir expresses gratitude towards the initiative of UET for LWMC. In recent past LWMC and UET also inked an MoU according to which UET will support LWMC in its potential projects and also share its research regarding solid waste management. LWMC video wall control room was also visited by the delegation.
