A policy for the young

March 27, 2019

Brain drain continues from Pakistan; developed countries like Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc are introducing new immigration programmes to develop their own economies. Professional degree-holders like doctors, engineers, skilled workers, investors are leaving the country. In the 19th century, colonial masters use to occupy territories to get advantage of natural resources. The world has changed now and occupying a country physically is not that viable anymore. Countries are now inviting people from developing countries to come work as immigrants.

Our federal and provincial governments should create a conducive environment for investors. Skilled workers should be trained in new trends of technology and jobs should be generated with the help of the private sector to secure the future of the younger generation of Pakistan.
