CCTV cameras installed at exam centres
Rawalpindi : Compared to previous years, Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) has made fool proof arrangements in better and more effective way to conduct Annual Examination of 9th class starting from March 18, 2019.
Chairman Dr Tanvir Zafar told that the staff has been assigned to perform their duties in examination centers numbering 380 in all. The list of the assigned staff has been dispatched to special branch along with their CNIC and cell numbers besides landline for observation purpose during the conduct of examinations.
CCTV cameras have been installed in examination centers to monitor the overall working of staff. Chairman Squad, Special Squad and inspectors would also be deputed in each examination center to monitor and submit the report to Chairman RBISE Board. Similarly in order to maintain security arrangements security guards would be deputed in all centers. Similarly, Control Rooms have been established in Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum Rawalpindi while main Control Room has also been set up in Board office.
In accordance with the directives of the Chief Secretary, Punjab, the deputy commissioner and assistant commissioners of all district besides Controller Examination and Board officials would also pay surprise visits during examination days. In the capacity of Chairman, I would also pay visits when papers are conducted. For the convenience of private appearing candidates their roll numbers slips are sent online. If any candidate misplace his or her roll number slips, then they could recover through Board website by entering their NIC and B form numbers. While the regular candidates could get the duplicate copies of roll number slips from their educational institutions if lost.
In all 25,468 candidates both regular and private are appearing in the annual examination. Out of the total number, 66,605 are male while 58863 are female. 107,251 are regular and 18,217 are private candidates who would appear in the examination.
