Shujaat says bid to create rift in family will fail

LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Q President and former Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that those telling false stories to defame our family will fail, we have given name of Moonis Elahi for federal ministry under understanding with PTI, attempts to create rift in our scions will not succeed because their training is done on the principles set by Ch Zahoor Elahi Shaheed.

About some baseless reports on the media, Ch Shujaat Hussain in a statement issued here Friday said that the people involved in propaganda against our family were habitual of trying to defame our family without any proof; they tell false stories through some anchors for own publicity, some of them are also candidates for chief minister-ship of Punjab, according to our understanding with PTI we had to get two ministries in the Centre and Punjab, we have got two ministries in Punjab, one still remains in the federation for which Moonis Elahi’s name has been given who is the eldest and experienced, he had won last election with lead of 26,000 votes and this time with a lead of 51,000 votes.

He said “three scions from our family are MNAs, some journalists and TV people tried to mislead the brothers by saying that instead of Moonis Elahi one of you should become the minister, but they strongly and firmly tell them not to try to create rift among us.”

Shujaat Hussain said that ever since our scions have entered politics some people continue indulging in such low level acts which make no difference, I want to remind such elements that training of all children of our family is based on the principles set by Zahoor Elahi Shaheed, those trying to create such negative impression will fail, Insha-Allah.
