The federal government-funded Green Line BRT project is way past its deadline. It should ideally be completed in 2019, however it shows no signs of nearing completion. The main reason for the delay, as cited by the engineers and consultants working on the project, is a lack of coordination between the federal and provincial governments.
It is the residents of Karachi who have had to bear the brunt of the traffic. The relevant departments should try to finish the project in a timely manner.
