With its unique geographical terrain, amazing wildlife, and spectacular scenery, the province of Sindh has a huge potential for ecotourism. If the natural landscapes and sites in the province are developed in an efficient manner, Sindh can emerge as a global leader in ecotourism.
The Sindh government, in collaboration with the federal government and the institutions like the UN, should take steps to create awareness of ecotourism within the public and to promote the best practices in every aspect, from planning, regulating, developing and monitoring ecotourism practices, all with the help of real-life experiences from around the world. The relevant provincial department should also launch guidelines for responsible tourism in the province.
