Nawaz to choose hospital today: physician
LAHORE: The personal physician of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Dr Adnan, has said the hospital for the treatment of Nawaz will be finalized after a meeting with him today (Monday).
In a statement on Sunday, he said the final choice for the hospital will be Nawaz’s. He said the government has not shown seriousness for the treatment of the PML-N supremo.
Meanwhile, Punjab chief minister spokesman Shahbaz Gill on Sunday called on Nawaz Sharif at the Kot Lakhpat Jail.
A two-member panel of doctors of the Punjab Institute of Cardiology also called on the PML-N Quaid along with Gill to discuss issues related to the health of the former PM. The doctors Professor Nadim Malik and Dr Saqib Shafi examined Nawaz and recommended new tests and cycle exercise. On the recommendation of the doctors, an exercise cycle will be provided to Nawaz.
Moreover, a health unit has been set up at the jail on the request of Maryam Nawaz. Three cardiologists will be present in the unit round the clock.
