PU tailor found murdered

LAHORE : A tailor of Punjab University was found murdered in front of Hostel No. 9 in the wee hours of Saturday.
Police have removed the body to morgue for autopsy. The victim has been identified as Suhail, 29, son of Faqeer Ahmad. His brother-in-law, Allah Ditta, told the police that the victim worked at Hostel No 1 with tailor Sagheer Ahmad.
He used to come back home at around 11pm but on Friday night he didn’t reach till late. As he reached the university, he found students gathered outside Hostel 9. He found the victim in a pool of blood and scissors. Police officers and forensic experts reached the scene and collected evidence. They also recorded statements of eyewitnesses. Further investigation is underway.
