IT minister discusses digitalising systems

Islamabad : Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui called on CEO Smart Dubai Wesam Al Abbas Lootah in Dubai and discussed digital transformation of governance in Pakistan and to expedite progression in this regard, says a press release.

Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui on his way back from Barcelona, Spain after attending the GSMA Ministerial Programme at the World Congress, 2019 had brief stopover at Dubai.

During meeting with Mr. Lootah, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui shared the different initiatives undertaken by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication in Pakistan for digitalising the government systems and processes.

He appreciated the vision of top leadership of Dubai and the UAE government for taking extraordinary measures in the exemplary transformation of Dubai governance system.
