Islamabad : Pakistan has returned seven in 1965, thirteen in 1971, one in 1999 and now Indian Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandan sent back to India safely. IAF should think twice, as they have to face Pakistan Air Force (PAF).

While talking to ‘The News’ Air Vice Marshal (r) Faaiz Amir, (HIM, S.Bt) said that returning IAF wing commander is a massage for peace from Pakistan now India should behave like good neighbor.

Recalling 1971 war Air Vice Marshal (r) Faaiz Amir told that 13 Indian Air Force (IAF) pilots were taken as war prisoners and they were kept in a camp in Rawalpindi. He told that Air Marshal Abdur Rahim Khan was Commander-in-Chief of the Pakistan Air Force at that time he specially assigned his ADC to take of 13 Indian Air Force war prisoners and Pakistan Air Force treated them well. Even after, three of them who escaped from prison and then caught again from Landi Kotal were treated well as Islam told us already how to treat with war prisoners.

Air Vice Marshal (r) Faaiz Amir said that Pakistan and India should talk to resolve the conflict rather than starting war. “No one wins the war there is always losers at the end,” he added. He appreciated the role of Pakistani media and said in this situation television channels and newspapers are doing mature reporting.

IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan in a video while holding a cup of tea appreciated the Pak Army professionalism and behavior and said he want to thank Pak Army on record for rescuing him from mob’s torture, their kind treatment and taking good care of him.

He also said his statement regarding the Pak Army would not change even after he returns to Pakistan. He urged the Indian Army to behave like the Pakistan Army. Pictures of Pakistani hero squadron leader Hassan Siddiqui successfully down Indian jet(s) which violated Pakistan’s territorial integrity become viral on social media soon after he landed back.
