TEXPO Pakistan will be held in April at Expo Center Lahore
KARACHI: The momentum and interest for the second edition of TEXPO, Pakistan is picking up as local textile industry is showing great interest in the event.
The event is being held in Lahore in April, 2019 and after the meetings of Mr. Mohammad Younus Dagha, Secretary Commerce with all the textile associations, TDAP has already sold out more than 80 percent of the available space.
Leading textile brands like Sapphire, Chen One, Siddique Sons, Rajby will be exhibiting their top quality, niche and prêt-à-porter products. TEXPO, 2019 has seen unprecedented interest to participate from the textile sector as more than 170 exhibitors representing the entire value chain has already confirmed their space in the event. TDAP and Pakistan Fashion Design Council has also signed Memorandum of Cooperation for holding Fashion Show on the sidelines of the TEXPO.
TDAP has made reservations in leading hotels of Lahore for the stay of the international buyers. On the opening day, an Inauguration Ceremony is being planned inside the majestic Lahore Fort for international buyers which would be a combination of cultural ethos and eastern values.
Ministry of Commerce is making all out marketing efforts to attract international buying houses, chains and retail stores for this event. All trade officers have been given special tasks and directions for bringing best possible buyers for TEXPO.***
