PM asks Hiraj to review irregularities in energy sector

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has tasked the Chairman Prime Minister Inspection Commission (PMIC) to review irregularities in the energy sector.
Without giving details of the assignment and specifics, the Prime Minister Office (PMO) in a release said that Chairman of the Commission Ahmad Yar Hiraj called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at the PMO and discussed with him the assignments of the PMIC. He briefed the prime minister about various activities of the Commission.
The prime minister asked Hiraj to review irregularities in the energy sector. Heraj who is apolitical figure from South Punjab would report the prime minister after completing the work as Khan gave him the outlines regarding the task that was assigned to him on Tuesday.
