PIA grants wishes of Make-A-Wish children

KARACHI: National carrier PIA granted the wishes of Make-A-Wish children, suffering from critically illnesses who wished to be pilot, says a press release on Tuesday.
A ceremony organised at PIA head office, Air Vice Marshal Subhan Nazir Syed decorated the wings of pilot to the wish children. Later, the children were taken to PIA training centre where they spent time on the simulator. Make-A-Wish Foundation Pakistan is an affiliate member of Make-A-Wish Foundation Int‘l and PIA is the corporate partner of the foundation.
Those presented on the occasion were: Mirza Ishtiaq Baig, Founder Make-A-Wish Foundation Pakistan, Air Vice Marshal Subhan Nazir Syed, Capt Amir Aftab, Aamir Memon, Sajid Qayyum, MAW volunteers & families of wish children.
