Valuables burnt in fire incidents

LAHORE: A fire erupted at a jewellery shop situated in Sunny Plaza in New Anarkali due to short circuit and reduced valuables to ashes on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, a fire erupted at a house near Coop Store due to short circuit and reduced valuables into ashes. Rescuers controlled the fire after hectic efforts. Yet in another incident, a fire erupted at the room of medical officer of Children Hospital. The reason of fire was unknown. No loss of life or injury was reported in any incident.

PHP: Punjab Highway Patrol has rendered help to 3,999 commuters, removed 927 encroachments, reunited eight lost children and took into custody 13,991 suspected and 1,376 unregistered vehicles during routine patrolling.

road accidents: The Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) has responded to 769 road accidents in Punjab during the last 24 hours in which six people died and 867 were injured. Out of the injured 522 with serious injuries were shifted to the hospitals while 339 with minor injuries were provided with the first aid on the spot by the rescuers.
