KARAK: Four charred bodies of unidentified passengers, who had been burnt alive in a road accident on Indus Highway about a week ago, were handed over to relatives after exhumation, the police said on Sunday.
Five unclaimed bodies had been buried in Tangori Sar graveyard temporarily soon after the accident. On Sunday, the graves of the four victims, hailing from Peshawar, Lakki Marwat, Kohat and South Waziristan, were exhumed. The bodies were handed over to the bereaved families for burial in their native areas. The sources said that one body still remained unclaimed and buried in the same graveyard.
