Seven-year-old girl raped in Garden Town

LAHORE: A 7-year-old girl was raped by her cousin in the Garden Town police limits on Monday. Police have arrested the accused and registered a case against him on the complaint of the victim’s mother.

The victim identified as M, daughter of Sumaira, a resident of Jewan Hana village, lives at the home of her maternal aunt. As she left the home to get milk from bazaar, her aunt’s son Gul Baaz raped her. As her condition went critical he left her alone and fled. As the victim’s mother reached home, she found M bleeding. She rushed her to hospital where the doctors confirmed the assault. Police reached the scene and collected evidences. Further investigation is underway.
