KARACHI: Organisers of India’s Pro Kabaddi League have invited five Pakistani players for auction for the second edition of the country’s prime event which will be held in the Indian Punjab from July 18 to August 23.
“Nasir Ali, Waseem Sajjad, Abrar Hussain, Tahseenullah and Tariq Dogar will go for auction,” Pakistan Kabaddi Federation’s (PKF) secretary Mohammad Sarwar told ‘The News’ from Islamabad on Friday. “I hope they will be hired by top franchises as they are very good players and are part of the national team,” he said.
Last year Waseem Sajjad, Wajid Ali and Atif were part of the Pro League.
Sarwar said that five players, including Musharraf Javed and Irfan Mana, will play in England’s league this summer.
