HAFIZABAD: The Wapda employees on Wednesday observed a complete strike in all sub-divisions against the proposed privatisation of the Wapda.
They also staged a demonstration in front of the Wapda offices at Chak Chattha, which was led by Wapda Hydro Electric Labour Union chairman Malik Shafqat Mahmood and secretary Abdul Razzaq. The Wapda employees chanted slogans in favour of their demands and said that they would not accept the privatisation of the Wapda at any cost.
