The Lahore High Court Wednesday issued show-cause notices to Pepco MD, GM and Lesco chief for submitting an unsatisfactory reply about transfer of an executive engineer in violation of the court’s order.
The petitioner engineer had obtained a stay order against his transfer from outside Lesco. However, he said, the respondents issued his transfer order. He then filed a contempt of court petition seeking action against the three respondents.
The respondents through counsel submitted their replies on the matter, however, the court expressed dissatisfaction terming the replies vague. The court issued show cause notices to them seeking a justification of their act and adjourned hearing till June 18. —Correspondent
