In Pakistan ‘Piku’ released by Geo Films, gets amazing response as most of the show are houseful and on weekend many cinemas arranged extras shows to reduce the rush. Overwhelmed with the tremendous response and the amazing ratings received for ‘Piku’.
Film’s simplicity, light music and comedy and deeper message won the audiences, Deepika’s performance as Piku in the film was loved by the critics, whereas Amitabh and Irfan succeeded in creating the perfect magic with their talents on the silver screen. Shoojit Sircar’s film is doing quite well in many circuit. Compared to Deepika’s Finding Fanny, ‘Piku’ has done a good business on its first day at the box office. It is expected that Amitabh Bachchan starrer comedy-drama film ‘Piku’, will continue to do decent enough business throughout the weekend. Compared to ‘Kuch Kuch Locha Hai’, which also released on the same day, ‘Piku’ is doing far better work at the box office and has received positive reviews from the audiences.
‘Piku’ tells us a story of a head strong, ideal daughter, played by Deepika Padukone and her struggling complicated relationship with her father, played by Amitabh Bachchan. The film also shows us how a cab driver, Irfan Khan gets caught up in father-daughter’s chaotic journey to Kolkata.
‘Piku’ is all the way to smash the box office this week all over India with a completely sweet and lovely father-daughter story. This very interesting and popular film of the first time together hit stars. The film has been reviewed as one of the best family entertainers and to be a decent movie of year. Performances of Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Irfan and other actors are at top notch. Every character will make you believe that they are not acting, but living their respective character. Look out for Irfan and Deepika’s mesmerising chemistry! The punches in the dialogues are hilarious.
The camera work, production value strong light music which touches your heart, comedy and editing too plays a wonderful game in this story. This makes the film quite a watchable material for the viewers.
