Rawalpindi: A colourful ceremony was held here in connection with Silver Jubilee celebrations of Am Anglo School and College, which was participated by a large number of parents and Army officials.
A heart touching moments was witnessed when the children of Junior Section performed to pay a tribute to the ‘Shuhada of Peshawar’ incident. The gathering prayed for the ‘Shuhada’ of Peshawar incident and stood silent for a minute on the occasion.
The crowd got excited when the students of grade 8th performed on a South African song and also on ‘Mast Qalandar Dhamaal’. The students also presented tradition and culture of Pakistan. Pak-China relations were also depicted through various performances on the occasion. The students also performed tableau, drama and comedy skits.
Rawalpindi Association of Private Schools (RAPS) President and Director Am Anglo School and College Capt (r) Ameer ud Din Shaikh thanked all parents especially his wife for her excellent efforts for this institution. In the end, certificates of achievements were distributed among teachers and students.
