On Mirza’s issue, CM says nobody above the law
Condoles with Nagori over brother’s murder

Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has said nobody was above the law and if anyone takes law into his hands, action would be taken against him.
He was replying to a question at the residence of Sindh minister Javed Nagori regarding attack by Zulfiqar Mirza and his supporters at a police station in Badin.
Qaim, who was accompanied by Pakistan People’s Party leaders Sherry Rehman, Rashid Rabbani, Waqar Mehdi, Najmi Alam and others, offered condolence with Jawed on the tragic death of his brother, Akbar Nagori, in an armed attack in Lyari two days ago.
APP adds: The chief minister said Akbar’s killers will be arrested and brought to justice soon, adding, “Enough is enough and now no one would be allowed to make Lyari hostage.”
He stressed that necessary steps had been taken to arrest the killers of Akbar Nagori and “I am personally monitoring the case.”
Qaim reiterated the government was committed to restore peace in Karachi. “We have launched an operation against criminals and their patrons who have made the lives of peaceful citizens a hell.”
