Islamabad: The leadership of Pakistan Tehrik Insaf is confident that the party can prove systematic rigging in the May 2013 general elections.
PTI senior leader and head of task force on rigging, Ishaq Khakwani, informed The News that the legal team is preparing answers to the questions asked by judicial commission and hopefully it will submit them today (Wednesday).
PTI Spokesperson Dr. Shereen Mazari while talking to The News said the PTI is working in line with the Terms of References (ToRs) of the judicial commission.
“Our legal team is categorizing all pieces of evidence according to the asked by the commission which would be presented when the commission starts the arguments on the issue.
She said PTI has concrete evidence to prove that the May 2013 general elections were rigged and it was done in a systematic manner and now it would be the responsibility of PML-N to prove that it was not involved in the rigging.
