Islamabad: The Roots Millennium School (RMS) celebrated the achievements and success of its students through a Student Recognition Ceremony held at the PNCA, says a press release.
The students from Montessori till Grade IGCSE-I participated in the event.
The hall was jam-packed with students and parents who had come from all across the country, including Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Mirpur, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Abbottabad and Attock. These students participated in various national and international competitions and examinations like IKLC, IKMC, Edexcel Examinations, International Drawing and Essay Writing Competition, WWF Nature Carnival, Commonwealth Essay Writing Competition, Photo Writing Contest, World Space Week, Pakistan Science Contest (PKSC), National SPELT Essay Writing Competition and Toyota Dream Car Contest.
The event started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the National Anthem. The students of Roots Millennium School, Wahid Campus, F-10/2, Islamabad, presented a tribute to the martyrs of the Peshawar school attack through a heart-touching tableau on ‘Bara Dushman’. Later, a colourful performance on the national song ‘Sohni Dharti’ captivated the hearts and minds of the audience.
Roots Millennium Schools Chief Executive Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq, TI, graced the occasion as chief guest. He awarded certificates and medals to the students attaining gold, silver and bronze medals in various national and international competitions.
Speaking on the occasion, Faisal Mushtaq said that the RMS students have brought laurels through their exceptional performance and it was a moment of pride for all Millennials as well as for the whole nation. He appreciated the hard work of the teachers.
