PAKPATTAN: Two brothers were electrocuted at Chak 38/SP on Monday night.
Adnan (6) and Zohaib (8), sons of Ghulam Mohiuddin, were playing in their home when they accidentally touched naked wires of a water pump. As a result, both received electric shocks and died on the spot.
VALUABLES LOOTED: Four dacoity incidents were reported here on Tuesday.
Saifullah of Chak 59-EB was on his way by a bike when two dacoits snatched cash and a cell phone from him at M Block. Seven dacoits including Muhammad Ali entered the house of Muhammad Mumtaz and allegedly looted cash, gold ornaments and other articles. A thief stole cattle from the cattle farm of Tahir Mahmood at Chak Malikpur. Two thieves stole an electricity transformer from a hospital at Chak 26-KB. Police have registered separate cases.
BODY FOUND: The dead body of a man was found from a tube-well at Chak 147/EB on Tuesday.
Some unidentified accused killed Tanveer Ahmad, s/o Gulzar, and threw his body in a tube-well. Police recovered the body and registered a case.
