929 facilities of quacks sealed across KP

PESHAWAR: Following the Supreme Court directives, the KP Healthcare Commission has sealed 929 clinics, laboratories and clinics of quacks across the province.
CEO of Healthcare Commission Aazar Sardar said the commission in the light of Supreme Court directives had launched action against the quacks in the province. The CEO said the commission had sealed about 201 clinics of quacks in the current months, including 29 in Peshawar, 20 in Mardan, 22 in Nowshera, 15 in Charsadda, 22 in Abbottabad, 11 in Haripur, 16 in Mansehra, 16 in Kohat, 23 in Dera Ismail Khan and 27 in Bannu. CJP during his Peshawar visit had ordered the KP Healthcare Commission to shut down clinics of all quacks.
