The body of a 29-year-old man was found inside a house in Orangi Town’s Sector 4-F on Saturday.
Mominabad Police SHO Shoaib Qureshi said neighbours informed the police that a man was found dead in his house in Bijli Nagar. He said a police team reached the address and shifted the body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy. The deceased was identified as Abdul Hakeem, son of Ibraheem. SHO Qureshi shared that Hakeem was employed in a private company and lived alone.
A medico-legal examiner confirmed that the victim bore torture marks on his body and, in the report, suggested that he was strangled to death after being subjected to torture.
