LAHORE: The Punjab Healthcare Commission sealed 146 businesses of quacks in 11 districts during the last two days.
According to a press release issued here on Saturday, the PHC teams visited 433 treatment centres, and closed down 146 of them being run by quacks.
Twenty businesses of quacks were closed down in Layyah, 17 in Kasur, 16 in Sheikhupura, 15 in Rawalpindi, 13 each in Pakpattan and Sargodha, 12 each in Bahawalnagar and Sialkot, 11 in Lahore and 10 in Toba Tek Singh.
According to the CTD spokesman, the two were attempting to enter Punjab from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
