Shahid Afridi was like a spark off the bench. He came in, scored at will and played for his teammates. Afridi’s dazzling batting style electrified cricket. This is why he was also called Boom Boom Afridi.
Afridi’s amazing years brought numerous records and enthusiastic victories. Though he could not perform well in World Cup 2015, it seems as though it was only yesterday that Afridi scored the fastest century. And today he is saying goodbye to a glorious career.
