ISLAMABAD: Guests in traditional Iftar-dinner, hosted by the Serena Hotel’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Aziz Boolani, here on Sunday became rendezvous for political discussion among the guests who turned up in a large number.

Most of the guests were of the view that despite adverse media campaign launched by his opponents, Nawaz Sharif’s popularity didn’t receive any dent. “The so-called electable ‘group’ is mistaken and has switched sides as the group has been compelled to shift its loyalties,” the guest opined.

A few guests also discussed the first 100-days PTI programme and termed it attractive. But others insisted that the PTI should have offered performance report regarding its KP rule. If the performance is impressive only than one could have trust in the promises made in the so-called agenda, they said. The guests also spoke high of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s administration and termed it as good selection by Nawaz Sharif.
