Family members of persons arrested during the raid at the MQM headquarter staged a demonstration outside the Karachi Press Club on Sunday to demand their release.
The protestors also demanded to be allowed to meet the detainees, after the SHC had struck down the petition seeking a meeting between the families of the arrested persons.
Claiming to have sent written requests to the Rangers as well as the government for a meeting the protestors said their requests were turned down. They called out for the PM to take notice of the situation.
