PTI minister wants treason case registered against Nawaz

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtun khwa Minister for Information and Public Relations Shah Farman on Tuesday submitted a resolution in Khyber Pakhtu nkhwa Assembly, demanding registration of a case against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif under Article 6 of the Constitution. According to an official handout, the resolution asserted that a treason case should be registered against Nawaz Sharif for, what it claimed, risking Pakistan’s sovereignty in a recent interview to an English newspaper.
