MANSEHRA: A newly-wed woman died and her four family members sustained injuries when a jeep fell into a ravine in Jabar area on Monday. The jeep was on its way to Mundi from Jabar Davely area of Siran Valley when the driver while negotiating a sharp turn lost control over the steering wheel and the vehicle skidded off the bumpy road and fell into a ravine.
Nazima Bibi, who had tied the knot last week, her husband Mohammad Siraj, driver Abdul Razzaq and two young boys sustained injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital. In another incident in Baffa area in the district, a woman stated to be the mother of five children reportedly committed suicide. The woman reportedly consumed a poisonous liquid and was rushed to hospital, where the doctors pronounced her dead.
