OGDCL Blind Cricket Super League: Punjab, Sindh topple rivals

LAHORE: Punjab and Sindh won their matches on day five of the AS Ali - OGDCL Blind Cricket Super League being held at Bolan Cricket Stadium, Quetta.

Punjab beat Balochistan by five wickets. Punjab won the toss and asked Balochistan to take guard. Balochistan made 172 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Mohsin Khan was the main scorer who scored 37 runs off 27 balls while Badar Munir made 22 runs and he faced 16 balls. Kamran Akhter took 2 wickets.

Punjab in reply reached the target for the loss of 5 wickets in the last over of the innings. Mati Ullah was the leading scorer with unbeaten 65 runs off 37 balls while M Akram made 26 runs off 13 balls. Mohsin Khan took 2 wickets for 23 in his 4 overs. Mati was named the man of the match.

Sindh defeated Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) by 31 runs. KP won the toss and opted to field first. Sindh set the competitive total of 245 runs on the board for the loss of 5 wickets in allotted 20 overs.

Nisar Ali played terrific inning a n d remained unbeaten on 125* runs off 63 balls while Amir Ashfaq played supportive inning of 60 runs off 36 balls. Haroon Khan took 2 wickets for 41 runs.

KP in reply made 214 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in allotted quota of 20 overs. Sana Ullah was the leading scorer with 73 runs off 45 balls while Riasat Khan made 68 runs off 32 balls. M Jameel took 2 wickets. Nisar Ali was the player of the match.
