Intermediate part-II exams start on 5th

LAHORE :Intermediate Part-II Annual Examination 2018 under all the nine boards of intermediate and secondary education of Punjab will commence from May 5 (Saturday).

More than 171,000 candidates will appear in the exam from Lahore BISE alone, for whom, the board has set up 5,61 examination centres. The board authorities have approached the Lesco for the uninterrupted supply of electricity to the examination centres during the exams.

UHS: The 134th meeting of Advanced Studies and Research Board of the University of Health Sciences (UHS) was held here on Thursday. The meeting, chaired by UHS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mehmood Shaukat, considered the thesis reports of Dr Roohi Jabbar, MPhil (Biochemistry), Javaid Iqbal, MPhil (Medical Laboratory Sciences-Microbiology), Dr Iram Akram, MPhil (Pharmacology), Dr Mahreen Akhtar MPhil (Pharmacology), Dr Amer Hassan Siddique, MPhil (Pharmacology), Dr Fouzia Parveen, MPhil (Pharmacology), Dr Khurram Munir MPhil (Physiology) and Dr Shahbaz Ahmad, MS (Orthopaedics).
