Nowshera residents protest shifting of girls’ school

NOWSHERA: The residents on Monday staged a protest against the shifting of a high school for girls from the area. The dwellers of Ziarat Kaka Sahib area took out the protest against the shifting of the Government High School for Girls to Alabad area. Pakistan People's Party (PPP) local leader Barrister Mian Feroz Jamal Shah Kakahel was leading the protesters. The speakers said the school was closed and the students were directed to take classes in a school five kilometers away from the village. They said that it was not possible for the parents to send children away from homes.
