One soldier, two civilians martyred in firing on LoC, western border
RAWALPINDI: A soldier and two civilians were martyred in firing on the Line of Control (LoC) and western boundary on Thursday, while three terrorists were also killed in retaliatory firing by the Pakistani troops. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian army resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation targeting civil population in Village Bramla with heavy automatics, mortars and anti-tank guided missiles in Thub and Banchiran sub sectors (Padhar Sector) at the LoC.
Two citizens embraced Shahadat, while two others were injured. The Pakistan Army troops targeted those Indian posts which initiated fire.
Meanwhile, terrorists raided Pakistani border post in Mohmand Agency from across the border.
Pakistani troops effectively responded. During exchange of fire, three terrorists were killed, while 21-year-old soldier Farmanullah embraced martyrdom.
