BADIN: Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Syed Wamiq Bokhari inaugurated the company-funded Thalassaemia Diagnostic, Prevention and Research Centre (TDPRC) building in Badin district on Monday, a statement said.
PPL donated Rs25.4 million for the construction, furnishing and equipping the centre, comprising two inpatients and an outpatient wards, laboratory and a blood bank, as well as a seminar hall and support departments, it added.
TDPRC In-charge Dr Muhammad Haroon Memon, local government officials, as well as representatives of the two organisations, were present on the occasion. The guests also toured the facility, it said.
