Five of a family poison man to death

OKARA: A girl, his father, two brothers and a sister were booked in a murder case here on Sunday. About nine months ago in village Jaboka, Zulekha Bibi had contracted marriage with Qudratullah of Bahadurnagar Farms.

She conspired with her father M Jamil, brothers Fahim and M Ali, and sister Shamim to kill her husband. Jamil called Qudratullah to his house where he was given poisoned food, which made him sick. Zulekha’s brother took him to his house, from where his family members shifted him to hospital in bad condition. Within a day, Qudrutullah died.

Qudratullah’s mother got a case registered with the Satghara police station. After nine months long investigation, the culprits came to surface.
