The Young Doctors Association (YDA), Punjab, has given a week’s ultimatum to the Punjab government and Punjab police to withdraw FIR against doctors otherwise they would be forced to spread the protest across the province.
Addressing a security convention here at Auditorium of Services Hospital, the YDA leaders, in the presence of hundreds of young doctors, presented the demands to the government and said they would be forced to go on a protest against FIR filed against doctors and the hospital staff. They demanded security legislation for the hospitals of Punjab, services structure for doctors and risk and security allowance for doctors.
