Scattered rain forecast

LAHORE: Partly cloudy weather with scattered rain was observed in the city here Monday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.

MET officials said a westerly wave is affecting upper and central parts of the country and likely to persist till Friday. They predicted rain-thundershower with gusty winds at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Rawalpindi divisions, Islamabad, upper Fata, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, while at isolated places in Zhob, Bannu, Kohat, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad and Sahiwal divisions.

Several parts of the city received scattered rain. Rainfall was also witnessed in many other cities including Quetta (Sheikh Manda 32, Samungli 27), Ziarat 19, Kalat 06, Zhob 05, Panjgur 01, Malamjabba 26, Dir 18, Cherat 16, Kalam 15, Mirkhani 14, Parachinar 13, Saidu Sharif 10, Lower, Pattan, Drosh 09, Chitral 07, Bannu, Risalpur 06, Balakot, Kakul 05, Peshawar (City 04, PAF 03), Kohat 02, DI Khan 01, Sargodha (City 15, PAF 14), Rawalpindi (Chaklala 13, Shamsabad 12), Murree 13, Chakwal 12, Jhang 11, Islamabad 10, Layyah, Bhakkar 08, Joharabad, Mangla 06, Kamra 05, Jhelum 03, Kot Addu, Noorpurthal 02, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Mandibahauddin 01, Garidupatta, Rawalakot 04, Kotli, Muzaffarabad 02 and Larkana Trace.
