RIS opens new campus in Wah Cantt
Rawalpindi: Continuing its historical legacy since past three decades, Roots International Schools (RIS) laid foundation for a new campus in Kohistan Enclave Wah Cantonment, says a press release.
The new building will cover a total of 150,000 sq. feet and will include state-of-the-art classrooms, libraries, Playgrounds, gymnasium, swimming pool, an outdoor football ground, a dedicated visitor centre, an auditorium and technologically advanced science labs .
The ceremony was attended by parents and students from RIS campuses across the twin cities and the vicinity of Wah Cantt. The attendees were mesmerized by beautiful and thought provoking performances by the students.
Ambassador of Portugal Joao Sabido Costa and Ambassador of Tunisia Adel Elarbi along with Madame Lana were present as chief guests. The dignitaries appreciated young Montessori graduates and wished them good luck for their future endeavours.
In his address to the Parents and little graduates, CEO RIS Walid Mushtaq stressed upon the dire need of innovation in the teaching and capacity building that Roots is incorporating. He elucidated that the nonconventional ways of teaching using modern technologies can go a long way for the future of the children of Pakistan.
