Islamabad: Dr Sameer Qurashi has been given acting charge of the registrar of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council. She will stay put until a new registrar is appointed. Dr Amjad Mehmood, who was on deputation from the Capital Administration and Development Division, has been relieved of his responsibility at his request. “As his promotion is due, Dr Amjad Raja requested to get him relieved from the PMDC. Dr Sameer Qureshi is now the new acting registrar of the PMDC,” a spokesman for the PMDC said.
